Friends Of St Aidan's (FOSA)

What is FOSA?

Friends of St Aidans is a volunteer organisation whose sole purpose is to help the children of St Aidan’s primary school.

As parents and carers we want our children to have the best start in life, at FOSA we want the community to become involved in and support our school, it is also important to us that our school meet community needs. We feel it is important for our  community to be aware of the issues, specifically regarding funding, that our school faces. We believe that with the help, support and backing of parents/grandparents and carers we can bridge the financial gap meaning our children have the opportunity to receive not only an exemplary degree of teaching but that they have the resources to help them learn, an environment rich in educational value and in short, the best start in life possible.

We have a brilliant time working on fundraising events, we learn new leadership skills which can help us outside of the  organisation and we make every experience as fun for us as the children. Being a member helps greatly, regardless of whether this is constant or occasional. The chances are we will have something which will fit your interests and the amount of time you have available; we have events which are once in a while and some which are ongoing.

Through fundraising and your help donating, this is what we have accomplished so far.......
